Product Details

- Formulation: Wettable Powder (WP)
- Mode of action: ACCase (Acetyl-CoA carboxylase) inhibitor; aryloxyphenoxypropionate ('fop')
Features & Benefits

- Rapid cessation of weed growth after application.
- Single post-emergence application.
Dosage & Application
- Recommended crops: Wheat
- Target weeds: Phalaris minor (canary grass)
- Dosage: Wheat: approx. 162 g formulation/acre (400 g/ha, converted from per ha)
- Application method: Post-emergence spray, 30-35 days after sowing or when grass weeds are at the 3-4 leaf stage, in 375-400 L water/ha
- Always follow the crop, dose and timing given on the product label and leaflet.
Safety & Precautions
- Repeated, continuous use of this single mode of action in the same fields has led to documented resistance in Phalaris minor populations in parts of North India.
- Grass-selective only - no effect on broadleaf weeds.
- Read the label and leaflet carefully before use, and follow the crop, dose and timing given there.
- Wear protective clothing, gloves, face mask and goggles while handling, mixing and applying.
- Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew while handling. Wash hands, face and exposed skin with soap and water after use.
- Do not spray against the wind or in strong wind. Avoid drift onto people, animals, other crops and water sources.
- Use a separate sprayer for herbicides, or clean the sprayer thoroughly after use.
- Do not contaminate ponds, wells, canals or other water sources with the product, its washings or empty containers.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals. Store in the original, tightly closed container in a cool, dry, locked place, away from food, feed and fertilizers.
- Do not reuse empty containers. Dispose of them safely as directed on the label.
- Observe the waiting period between the last application and harvest stated on the label.
- In case of poisoning or suspected poisoning, stop work, move to fresh air, get medical help immediately and show the label or leaflet to the doctor.
